Mean annual totals of precipitation during the period 1991–2015 with respect to cyclonic situations in Slovakia

Atmospheric precipitation during cyclonic situations was analyzed using weather types classification. Based on data from the period 1991 to 2015, observed were in terms of their frequency days with a given type. Cyclonic airflow direction west and northwest, north northeast, east southeast, south southwest analyzed. We identified declining number that can be classified as situations. The distributions mean annual totals for these have been investigated. highest occurred cyclonic, northeast types. lowest (with fronts moving northeast) percentage individual supertypes total calculated. directional supertype + northwest type percentage, although variations may arise due windward leeward effects.
